Frequently Asked Questions
Service blocked by Router/Firewall

How do I open a blocked port on my router and/or firewall?

Your router needs to be configured to allow incoming connections to your computer for a particular service port. Each router is different but all generally have their own web configuration interface that you can access via your computer that is connected to it. If you are running a firewall, you will also need to configure it to allow incoming connections for the service you want to run. Below are some of the most common services you might want to run and the port they run on.
