Frequently Asked Questions
Routers and Firewalls

Do I need to configure the firewall that is enabled in Windows XP?

Yes, Windows XP has a built in firewall that is automatically enabled by default. This prevents you from running any type of service (i.e. webserver) on your computer unless you enable the specific service port in the firewall.
